I've saved this blog name because I *really* want to create a business dedicated to creating eco-friendly geek-themed chic accoutrements (jewelry and other fashion accessories). I'm thinking pieces inspired by video games and made out of reclaimed or recycled materials. I also plan on donating portions of my sales to environmental nonprofits.
I have such big plans and I really hope I don't end up letting myself down.
I'm going to leave you with two images that inspire me:

So far, this hasn't been in the cards for me.
I want to change that.
I've been operating as VeRajArt and - very slowly - creating products that may or may not sell.
My newest line-up includes wrap bracelets dedicated to specific Celtic Goddesses, that I plan to sell at Pagan Pride Tulsa in October.
I yearn to make pieces that not only reflect who I am, but who I want to be, and how I want the world to be.
I yearn for a "green" world; one in which eco-friendliness is the norm, not the exception.
(We actually had a chance to do something about it recently with the proposed Green New Deal, but of course that hope has slipped through our fingers as has, essentially, the hope that we can halt climate change.)
I will not be adding ads to this blog because I truly hope to turn this into something I can be proud of. I want my work to speak for itself and create its own revenue without relying on monetization from AdSense.
